Seeding rates shown are broadcast rates for establishment and should be adjusted to site, seedbed, and mixture. Mucuna bracteata is the exception: it is transplanted from nursery-raised seedlings and is never broadcast. Nitrogen figures are indicative and site-dependent, not design values. For Pueraria javanica, the best-sourced measurement available to us is Clermont-Dauphin et al. (2016), Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment 217:79-88: 85 to 93 percent of nitrogen derived from the atmosphere, and up to 250 kg N/ha/yr accumulated in aboveground biomass, measured in one rubber-intercrop trial in northeast Thailand. Treat that as an upper reference point rather than a design value, since published figures vary widely with site, stand age, and management. Verify any nitrogen contribution against your own soil and leaf analysis rather than assuming a fixed fertiliser credit.
